Professional Background

Prior to joining the firm in 2021, Mr. Patchen served as a Deputy City Solicitor in the City of Philadelphia’s Labor and Employment Unit, where he represented the City of Philadelphia in traditional labor matters such as unfair labor practice charges and labor arbitrations. Mr. Patchen also provided labor and employment counseling to the City and its Departments and represented the City of Philadelphia in employment litigation in state and federal court, handling cases from the outset through trial.

Mr. Patchen graduated cum laude from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law in 2013. During law school he served as a judicial intern for a United States District Court Judge, a clinical intern with the Defender Association of Philadelphia and took part in Temple’s Integrated Trial Advocacy Program.

On A Personal Note…

In his spare time, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife and chasing after his young son. He is also a die-hard Philadelphia 76ers fan.
