Brian represents public sector clients in matters relating to employment discrimination, civil rights, and personal injury law, as well as pension and other municipal matters. He has litigated cases involving alleged constitutional claims arising out of law enforcement activities, the exercise of police powers, and employment disputes, as well as lawsuits involving personal injury and property disputes. He provides counseling to clients in labor and employment matters, including issues that arise under the Americans with Disabilities Act and other state and federal statutes. He has represented clients in jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, statutory appeals, and has briefed and argued cases on appeal before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Brian is an approved Neutral serving in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Programs for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

On A Personal Note…

Brian was born in Pittsburgh and attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He and his wife, Clare, live in the Highland Park neighborhood of Pittsburgh. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and exercising, spending time with family and friends, traveling, trying new things, learning about different places and cultures and trying to keep up on world affairs. Brian and his wife support various charities and causes that support people and animals in need.
