Tackling Your Toughest Police Department Problems – Managing Police Departments has become much more challenging due to manpower shortages in light of recruiting difficulties and increased retirements during an era of increased scrutiny of police overlaid with compliance with Acts 57 and 59, dealing with Heart and Lung abuse scandals and resulting officers out of work and increased filing of workers’ compensation and disability pension claims.
